Magnificent Herd of Herefords
Happy Mama
It all started when…
Marc and Tom purchased and lovingly restored this spectacular 200+ acre farm with a vision of creating a thriving, pasture-based operation where livestock can graze freely across rolling green fields. Their commitment to responsible land stewardship and sustainable farming practices has transformed the property into a healthy, productive environment for both the animals and the land.
Today, the farm is home to a herd of Hereford cattle and a flock of Dorper sheep, both well-suited to a grass-based farming system. Hereford cattle are renowned for their rich red coats, distinctive white faces, crests, and underlines. Originally developed in Herefordshire, England, these medium-sized, muscular cattle are celebrated for their gentle temperament, excellent foraging ability, and adaptability to a wide range of climates. Their efficient conversion of pasture into premium, beautifully marbled beef has made Herefords one of the most respected and widely raised beef breeds in the world.
