YES, YOU CAN COME SEE OUR FARM --
on "OPEN MORNINGS" this winter, and on Madison County's OPEN FARM DAY in July.
Saturday February 10th
Saturday March 17th
Saturday April 14th
9:00 to Noon
On Open Mornings, come to the farm to pick up some of our pasture-raised meats, and we will give you a quick ½-hr tour of some aspect of the farm, each Open Morning at 9:30, 10:30, & 11:30.
Saturday February 10th: Shearing. We’ll be shearing the entire flock this weekend, and we’ll show you how the sheep are shorn, and how we sort and pack the wool.
Saturday March 17th: Pregnancy and Steers. All of our ewes will be pregnant, and our steers will be fuzzy with their winter coats. We’ll show you our system for caring for ewes in gestation, and our system for feeding cattle in the winter.
Saturday April 14th: Lambing. We’ll have a lot of newborn lambs for you to see. We’ll show you how we care for them and their dams.
